A Top-Down Couch VS Racing game centered on destruction for the GMTK Game Jam 2023!
Race around a track with 3 other players (Bot or Real Players) and use the items on the course to destroy your ship! Yep, that's right, you win by dying first! Be careful, your ship's auto-healing system engages when stopped or at slow speeds, so keep pace and use healing items on your opponents! Bombs are your best bet at taking down health but you can also chip health off by hitting walls, items, and especially other players. Other players can get hit with your items and take damage for you, don't let that happen!
Most standard controllers are supported for use in multiplayer (XBOX, PS4/5 DualShock DualSense, etc.).
This is my first submission for a GMTK Game Jam, I hope you love the game!
Controls:
Keyboard: WASD or Arrow Keys to Move, Space Bar to use Item.
Gamepad or Controller: Left Stick to Move, A or South button to use Item.

I really liked the concept and it would be such a nice party game, specially with those chaotic controls. But the presentation toned down the experience for me, it was really difficult to see what was happening, what items would activate in each moment and how it was the match situation at certain points. If you continue to work on the game, this is my feedback to get your special idea shine even more!
